    Jennifer,

Absolutely brilliant interview. Charlene is clearly crafting something new at Altimeter and you really uncovered that in a way that only a seasoned journalist and Columbia J school grad could! (i’m not a Columbia grad, though my late grandmother was a student at Columbia and I am a native and proud New Yorker.)

One of the areas that I’m most interested in regarding Enterprise class firms is Corporate Culture; cultivating a culture that can withstand and even shine under the spotlight that social technologies provide. I really believe that it’s not just leadership in the C-suite that matters now, it’s a positive, well-balanced, empowering culture at every level. It strikes me as very intriguing that GE, for instance, has a “Director of Employee Marketing.”

Also, you alluded to PR being an industry in major transition, which it clearly is. I enjoyed hearing Charline’s wise insights on the importance of building relationships as opposed to merely pitching.

Again, terrific job. I look forward to listening to your programs in the future.

    Sincerely,
    Hugh Macken
